Such great customer service and industry knowledge from Anthony at the Discount Lighting store at Warana, Sunshine Coast. Anthony went above and beyond to assist with a spare part of an older fan, negating the need for me to purchase an entirely new fan. While in-store Anthony took time to educate me on the ranage of ceiling fans with in-built lights (which is what i needed) and the various considerations around motor and air flow. I was also very surprised to learn that the products offered by Discount Lighting (various brands unlikely competitor Beacon) have 5 or 6 year warranties. I purchased about 8 "Lucci" fans (not cheap) from Beacon some years ago and with 18months - 3 years 50 % of the fans had failed. The warrant at time of purchase with Beacon was not longer than 3 years certainly so i had to replace fans or motor components at my own cost. Highly recommend a visit to Kawana Discount Lighting and Fans for a 'second opinion' to the big guys at Beacon. Better quality of product and excellent customer service. Better warranty piece of mind also.
